Overview
Enphase Energy is a global energy technology company that provides solar, battery, and electric vehicle charging products. The Field Service Technician role involves on-site support for Distribution and Installation Partners, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Travel up to 50% for site visits, including out-of-state trips and overnight stays.
- Service Enphase PV and storage systems within the assigned territory.
- Liaise between the scheduling team and homeowners for site visit coordination.
- Perform onsite testing and diagnostics to evaluate system performance.
- Complete solar maintenance reports and required documentation accurately.
- Perform microinverter maintenance and update the Enlighten monitoring system.
- Utilize standard field tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Install and route conduit, copper piping, and flexible tubing.
- Participate in regular safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain tool inventory and adhere to tool management standards.
- Respond promptly to customer needs and deliver high-level customer service.
- Follow OSHA safety standards on job sites.
- Train and mentor team members on installation techniques.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in reviewing system designs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical installation and service.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret plan sets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to feedback.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to manage change and challenges.
- Willingness to learn various tools and techniques.

- Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Commercial or residential electrical license.
- NABCEP certification.
Additional Information
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds of tools and equipment.
