Overview

Mity-Lite, Inc., a Utah County furniture manufacturer, is seeking a Fabricator to join the Operations team. This position involves performing repairs on jigs and fixtures, assisting with improvement projects, and supporting various value streams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on jigs and fixtures.
• Read prints to repair jigs to their natural state.
• Inspect and test finished work to ensure it conforms to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain correct records of work performed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in training team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good work ethic: Reliable, dedicated, productive, cooperative, and self-disciplined.
• Physically able to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to weld steel and aluminum preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in using hand tools and reading prints.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills for record keeping and email.
• Strong record of completing tasks on time.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
