Overview

USEMCO is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Tomah, WI. The company, established in 1963, specializes in manufacturing pump stations, lift stations, control panels, and tanks for water, chemical, and petroleum products, and values a family-style environment for its employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all position welding on a wide variety of large weldments and structures.
  • Work from assembly drawings, specifications, bills of material, and material specifications.
  • Plan and lay out erection procedures and perform set ups for components.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for dimension, contour, and alignment.
  • Fill out proper documentation for ASME routing.

Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to 4 years of high school.
  • 5+ years’ experience in welding on mild steel or stainless steel and/or structural welding.
  • Must pass a weld test.
  • Ability to perform work from a ladder or scissor lift up to 20 feet off the ground.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints.
  • Operate a wide variety of equipment such as hand tools, welding machines, and cutting torches.
  • Ability to use tape measure, rules, square, levels, templates, and gauges.
  • Ability to seal weld vessels and tanks for hydro or air type testing.

  • 1st Shift/Full-Time: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Monday - Friday; OT offered.
  • Working Conditions: Indoors.
