Overview

Austin Industrial is a leading provider of maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to industrial companies across the U.S. The Scaffold Builder Leadman will supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding or other temporary structures.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on installation.
• Oversee transport of tubular scaffold and erect as instructed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials to erect temporary structures.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to permanent structures for stability.
• Adhere to OSHA, site-specific, and company requirements.
• Supervise dismantling of scaffolding when communicated.
• Inspect and stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• TWIC Card.

Additional Information

• Employees must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at elevations.
• Work may be performed in industrial and construction environments with exposure to various hazards.
