Overview

ISC Manufacturing is seeking an experienced MIG/FCAW Structural Fabrication Welder to join their team, where they design and build complex systems and components for various industries including Agriculture, Mining, and Construction. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and be eager to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Review detailed blueprints and set up components to specifications.
  • Prep parts using angle grinders, drill presses, handheld plasma, oxy-fuel torch, and an ironworker.
  • Lay down quality welds in every position on carbon and stainless steel.
  • Maintain equipment and follow all safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with teammates and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of MIG welding experience with strong FCAW skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
  • Background in similar environments such as conveyors and heavy equipment fabrication.
  • Proficiency with GMAW and FCAW welding processes.
  • Capability to weld 14 ga through 4+ inch carbon and stainless steel.
  • Comfortable reading tape measures, technical drawings, and AWS D1.1 requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with layout and fit-up for CNC-cut and manually formed parts.
  • Ability to safely rig and lift heavy, odd-shaped parts using forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Detail-driven, responsive to verbal directions, self-starting, team-oriented, and quality focused.

Additional Information

  • Must be able to work Monday–Fridays 5–5:30; sometimes weekends as needed.
  • Pre-hire welding test required.
  • Post-hire AWS D1.1 certification test required.
  • 30–90 day probationary period.
