Overview

General Galactic designs, builds, and flies advanced spacecraft, aiming to dominate cislunar space and expand access to high-energy orbits. The Fall Engineering Internship offers students the chance to work with an engineering team on propulsion hardware development and gain exposure to a growing startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our engineering team on propulsion hardware development, testing, or supporting flight systems.
  • Support design, analysis, fabrication, integration, and/or test campaigns.
  • Help build and document processes as we scale our flight hardware.
  • Get exposure to the full stack of a growing startup.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage startup environment.
  • Strong communicator, self-starter, curious.
