Overview

The Hourly Production Team Member position at Ford Motor Company involves assembling vehicles or vehicle components using provided materials and tools. This temporary full-time role offers a generous benefits package and the opportunity to convert to a full-time regular employee after nine months of continuous service.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble vehicle or component parts using materials and tools in a predefined order and process.
  • Select, manipulate, and attach parts onto vehicles or components using power or hand tools.
  • Maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line or warehouse.
  • Inspect parts for defects or quality issues.
  • Work in a team environment and promote a safe work atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to work on any assigned schedule and change shifts periodically.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
  • Ability to perceive differences in details when inspecting parts.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment, drug screen, physical, and background check.
