Overview

Best-One Tire & Service at the Post Road location in Indianapolis is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engine diagnostics and repair.
  • Conduct brake inspections and repairs.
  • Handle alignments and steering repairs.
  • Execute suspension repairs.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services.
  • Engage in welding and fabrication.
  • Conduct fleet inspections and make recommendations.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs for disabled commercial trucks and trailers.
  • Complete DOT-compliant fleet inspections.
  • Maintain company vehicles to D.O.T. standards.
  • Document services performed and communicate fleet needs to the Sales and Service Team.
  • Safely operate all shop machinery and tools.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Valid driver's license.
