Job Description
Overview
We have immediate openings for Welder/Fabricators in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful Welder/Fabricators will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and fitting custom components and attachments to various types of mining equipment according to blueprints and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Weld, fabricate, and fit custom components and attachments to mining equipment.
- Follow blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in welding, fabrication, and fitting.
- Experience with Mig, Tig, and stick welding.
- Experience with torch and plasma cutting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.
- Own a full set of welding and fit up tools.

- Location: Salt Lake City, UT
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 6AM start time, 10-12 hour days.
- Overtime available after 40 hours/week.

What you'll be running
This posting calls for MIG, TIG, and Stick work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. It lays down metal fast and is forgiving on clean material, which is why it dominates production and light fabrication work. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
