Overview

We are a locally owned company that is well-established looking for Full-time Welders, Pipefitters, Structural Fitters and Millwrights to join our team. Our ideal candidate is polite, has a can-do attitude, and works well with others while maintaining a drive for quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to production.
  • Maintain welding equipment.
  • Read prints, layout, fit-up, welding, quality control.
  • Operate other shop equipment such as grinder, saw, forklift, crane, and plasma torch.

Requirements

  • Drivers License.
  • WABO wire or Stick certification.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Experience working from shop drawings.
  • Ability to prepare a materials request order.
  • Proficient in cutting parts to be welded.
  • Proficient in welding aluminum, mild steel, and stainless.
  • Experience in designing jigs and fixtures for production items.
  • Ability to fabricate products with precision for disassembly, shipping, and reassembly.
  • Willingness to travel for installations in the Northwest with per-diem and travel pay.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Basic Electrical, Gearing, Conveyor Belts, Sawmill, and Production Plant.
  • Bonus: Experience fabricating with a wide variety of materials.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in shop.
  • Minimum of 5 years in field construction and erection.
  • Must have pipe and structural sheet fabrication experience.
  • Fluent in reading construction drawings.
  • Fluent in fabrication from design drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic geometry and algebra for fabrication needs.
  • Advanced tool knowledge.
  • Ability to visualize a three-dimensional object from 2D flat drawing.
  • Good understanding of hardware and its application.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
