Overview

The Advanced Maintenance Mechanic role involves diagnosing and solving mechanical problems, maintaining machinery, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately diagnose and solve mechanical problems as they arise.
  • Repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as production machines, conveyor systems, hydraulics, power transmissions, and all mechanical equipment.
  • Visually inspect and perform preventative maintenance to machines and equipment.
  • Perform welding tasks related to repairing equipment/machinery.
  • Follow blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to repair broken parts, realign and adjust mechanical components, and dismantle machines to gain access to the problem areas.
  • Work on air and hydraulic pipes on the machines by measuring, cutting, threading, and installing new pipe.
  • Actively support and participate in the continuous improvement process.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
