Overview

Linde Inc. is seeking a Production Technician in Keasbey, NJ, responsible for operating and maintaining air separation plants while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role involves troubleshooting, performing maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance facility reliability.

Responsibilities

• Startup, operate, and maintain air separation plants and associated systems.
• Troubleshoot plant shutdowns and perform corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate scheduling of planned maintenance and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate units to supply products safely and economically.
• Monitor process performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret P&ID's, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Perform calibration of analyzers and troubleshoot control system problems.
• Perform lock-out tag-out and oversee contractors as necessary.
• Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment.
• Prepare and execute projects to improve facility availability.
• Manage maintenance deadlines and PM intervals.
• Communicate with cross-functional groups and other business departments.
• Support maintenance of satellite pipeline meter stations and assist with DigTix locates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Three or more years of production operations experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as needed.
