Overview

Maverick Power is a rapidly expanding company recognized for its innovative power distribution solutions, seeking a Mechanical Assembly Lead to join their high-energy team. The role involves assembling products and ensuring quality standards while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work is performed safely and proper use of PPE is adhered to.
  • Lead by example through the 5S Methodology.
  • Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and appliances according to directions.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation and build to those specifications.
  • Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Maintain equipment and conveyors and perform basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventory tools, parts, and supplies; contact materials handler if supplies are needed.
  • Periodically check products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion.
  • Exhibit teamwork and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Support peers during high demand by working assigned hours and overtime as required.
  • Communicate and interact confidently to build customer relationships.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in manufacturing roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team.
  • Ability to maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
