Overview

Amrize is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to work in Lewisville, TX, focusing on maintaining and repairing plant machinery and equipment while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and installs plant machinery and equipment.
  • Performs maintenance on plant buildings and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs.
  • Moves and installs plants following engineering plans and specifications.
  • Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.
  • Performs maintenance on buildings and other related work as assigned.
  • Commits to communicating and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers’ training program.
  • 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with shop equipment, such as welding and machining equipment.
