Overview

The Welder Fabricator IV position involves performing various welding processes and fabricating metal structures according to specifications. The role requires a commitment to quality and safety in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various welding processes including electric resistance, oxyacetylene, plasma-arc, and TIG welding.
  • Weld a variety of metals and alloys, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and structural integrity.
  • Fabricate, assemble, or repair metal structures according to blueprints, schematics, layouts, and work orders.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations in the welding area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors or team members to coordinate work and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of welding equipment, materials, techniques, and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
