Overview
Dandy is a rapidly growing venture-backed company transforming the dental industry through technology. They are hiring an R&D Technician II to support their metal partials manufacturing line, focusing on hands-on production work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform metal post-processing on printed frameworks, including removal, tumbling, and finishing.
- Work at the marrying station to join components and support assembly, quality checks, and packing.
- Track case-level status and inventory using spreadsheets and internal portal tools.
- Inspect finished components against quality standards and flag issues.
- Operate and help maintain production equipment, performing basic troubleshooting.
- Follow and help refine SOPs as the line scales, flagging process gaps and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a dental, dental lab, or similar precision manufacturing environment preferred.
- Comfortable and efficient using a computer, including spreadsheets and production tracking tools.
- A self-starter who can work under minimal supervision and take ownership of daily production.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with repeatable, quality-driven processes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly.
- Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
