Overview

The Assembly & Welding Technician is responsible for assembling and welding structural components and internal equipment of energy storage containers, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The position requires experience in various welding techniques and a commitment to maintaining a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and weld structural components and internal equipment of energy storage containers per assembly drawings and procedures.
  • Perform CO2 gas shielded welding, argon arc welding, and manual arc welding, ensuring weld quality meets standards.
  • Conduct self-inspection and mutual inspection during assembly, promptly reporting quality deviations.
  • Properly use and maintain welding equipment, fixtures, and measuring tools.
  • Comply with safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and maintain 5S on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • Vocational school or high school diploma or above; Welding or Mechanical major preferred.
  • 2+ years of welding and assembly experience; experience in energy storage container, or metal welding and assembly preferred.
  • Valid welding operator certificate (high-pressure welding certificate preferred); proficient in multiple welding processes.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and welding symbol annotations.
