Overview

LINK Staffing is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for an immediate opening with a manufacturing operation in East Houston. The role requires hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical problems on production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Inspect machinery and identify worn or damaged components.
• Repair or replace bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, and related parts.
• Read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and startup.

Requirements

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining production equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to identify equipment failures and prioritize urgent repairs.
• Ability to work safely around operating machinery and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is a plus.

Benefits

Additional Information

• Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Schedule: Full-time; shift will be confirmed during the hiring process.
• Location: East Houston, TX.
