Overview

McCormick & Company, Incorporated, a global leader in flavor, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Dallas, TX. This role involves maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of production equipment under the direction of a Maintenance Team Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of production equipment.
  • Interact closely with co-workers in and outside of the Maintenance Department.
  • Analyze and correct problems of varied nature on a wide range of equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver around equipment.
  • Become a certified forklift operator.
  • Work overtime and weekends with minimal notice.
  • Work at heights of up to 45 ft.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Implement Planned Maintenance practices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in all maintenance crafts including basic electrical, mechanics, welding, and machine shop.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and correct problems.
  • Knowledge of Planned Maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
