Overview

The Structural Welder position involves planning, laying out, and performing structural welding and fabrication work according to industry standards. Sundt Inc. is a 100% employee-owned contractor focused on building long-term prosperity for clients and employee-owners.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
  • Produce high-quality work safely and productively.
  • Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, and information.
  • Seek opportunities for improvement in tasks and methods.
  • Share knowledge and teach others.
  • Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance, and address deficiencies.
  • Eliminate waste in processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three to six years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry depending on level.
  • Must pass required weld tests for the work performed.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
