Overview

Worley is a global company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, headquartered in Australia. The Pipefitter position involves laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated parts, contributing to various industrial construction and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, ISO's, filed installations, material takeoffs, and field sketches.
  • Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, and stainless steel weld pipe.
  • Miter and fabricate all pipe.
  • Install valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers, and supports.
  • Perform steam and heat tracing.
  • Use a beveling machine.
  • Conduct basic plumbing repairs.
  • Carry out minor valve maintenance and repair.
  • Test piping systems.
  • Perform oxygen and acetylene cutting.
  • Execute basic rigging.
  • Operate pneumatic and electric tools.
  • Leak test tubing systems.
  • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
