Overview

The Electrical Mechanic position involves skilled mechanical and electrical work in the installation and maintenance of high and low voltage electrical circuits and related equipment at various electrical facilities. This role requires candidates to have specific qualifications and may involve working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled mechanical and electrical work in the installation and maintenance of electrical circuits and related equipment.
• Work at electrical stations and plants, including substations, generating stations, and switching stations.
• Handle high and low voltage electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Six months of full-time paid experience performing electrical work on equipment and circuits.
• Completion of at least eight months in the Utility Pre-Craft Trainee training program.
• Certificate of completion of relevant electrical programs from accredited institutions.
• Valid Class C driver’s license issued by the California DMV within 30 days of appointment.
