Job Description

Overview

The Pressure Vessel Welder position offers a 4-day workweek from Monday to Thursday, focusing on various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and SMAW. Candidates should have strong skills in welding and experience with pressure vessels or ASME 6G pipe.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG, MIG (STT/Pulse), SMAW, and silver brazing welding.
  • Work with pipe and tubing ranging from ¼" to 6" in materials like stainless, carbon, and copper.
  • Weld small parts to large heat exchangers.
  • Handle fit-up, layout, fixtures, and custom weldments.
  • Read blueprints and collaborate with engineers and project leads.
