Overview

The Pipefitter Leader performs duties and leads a team of three or more workers at the Pipefitting and Metal Works Section in McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, ensuring that work assignments are completed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Check work while in progress and when finished to ensure compliance with supervisors' instructions and deadlines.
  • Work in an automated work order system for job execution and material consumption.
  • Advise supervisor on the status and progress of work, including reasons for delays.
  • Initiate action to procure needed stock before job commencement by reviewing job orders.
