Overview

Top Metal Solutions is seeking MIG / Flux-Core Welders to join our metal fabrication team. We are considering candidates with different levels of welding experience, and starting pay will be determined based on previous experience, demonstrated skills, and practical weld test results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and Flux-Core welding on metal components and fabricated assemblies
  • Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
  • Prepare, fit, and align materials before welding
  • Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed
  • Grind, clean, and finish welded parts
  • Visually inspect welds and identify defects
  • Accurately use measuring tools
  • Maintain quality and productivity throughout the fabrication process
  • Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Previous MIG and Flux-Core welding experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or structural welding preferred
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform measurements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Dependable attendance, reliability, and strong work ethic
  • Commitment to quality and safety

What you'll be running
