Overview

Lippert is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions, dedicated to the RV, marine, automotive, commercial vehicle, and building products industries. The Welder position involves placing fitted fabricated steel structures in fixtures and operating robots per blueprints with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Weld steel parts in a jig fixture
  • Read blueprints and communicate with co-workers
  • Set up, run, and operate machinery
  • Count and maintain accurate tracking system
  • Report any equipment issues to department lead
  • Perform required quality checks
  • Follow all process and Work Instructions at all times
  • Complete all welding tasks on time
  • Ability to use and read tape measure
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 6 months of prior MIG welding experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma
  • Basic computer skills necessary
  • Maintain clean and organized work space
  • Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments
  • Ability to communicate within a team setting
  • Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday; lift between 50 to 75 pounds regularly and up to 90lbs occasionally
  • Familiar with welding symbols
