Responsibilities

  • Work as a team member to produce or process microwave products under supervision.
  • Set up and operate equipment for assembly and test operations of microwave tubes.
  • Work from specifications, drawings, blueprints, and test procedures.
  • Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks related to traveling wave tubes.
  • Ensure build records are complete and certified before manufacturing.
  • Work under clean room conditions when required.
  • Use computerized equipment for data input and analysis.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain required certifications.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding engineering prints/documentation.
  • Adjust and perform related duties to meet quality and delivery expectations.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Proficient at clocking into and out of work orders.
  • Accurate recording and documentation of job time.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills: interpersonal, oral, and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects effectively.
  • Good manual dexterity with both hands.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience using basic hand tools and welding.
  • 20/20 eyesight (corrected) and good hand-eye coordination are necessary.
  • 1-3 years of operations or manufacturing-related work experience.

Additional Information

  • Job Location: Torrance, CA
  • Salary: $23-33/hr DOE
  • Work scheduled shifts as requested or permitted by Collective Bargaining Agreement.
