Overview

At Winland Foods, the Certified Maintenance Team Member plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of operations through various maintenance tasks and problem-solving efforts, contributing to the company's values of Excellence, Quality, Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Assist with machine setup, equipment modifications, and rebuilds to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update records in CMMS systems.
  • Follow all safety protocols and uphold GMPs and food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
  • Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform accurate math functions.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and other food safety regulations.

  • Full time position.
  • Schedule: 5 Day work week with 12 hour shifts.
  • Shift: 7 pm - 7:30 am (Training will be on First Shift).
  • Work Location: 20-01 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.
  • Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $33.00 - $38.00 (Annually or Per Hour) with additional bonus potential.
