Overview

The MIG/TIG Fabrication Welder position involves manual and robotic welding operations, focusing on aluminum, steel, and stainless materials. The role requires interpreting blueprints and maintaining quality standards while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret weld symbols and read blueprints to meet spec and quality targets
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding and operate robotic welding processes
  • Freehand weld aluminum; work confidently with steel, stainless, and aluminum
  • Use a tape measure accurately and verify critical dimensions
  • Operate a large belt sander for finishing
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area; follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE

Requirements

  • 1+ years of welding experience
  • Reliable, punctual track record
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred

Additional Information

  • 1st shift 6 am- 2:30 pm; must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Position weld apparatus in any orientation required by the work
  • Stand for prolonged periods; frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping
  • Exposure to typical shop elements including noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
  • Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.

What you'll be running
