Overview

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. is a leading global independent beverage solutions provider, aiming to put their drinks on every table. The Machine Operator Lead is responsible for ensuring the highest quality product in an efficient manner while operating machinery on production lines.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
• Acquire operational knowledge of assigned line's equipment.
• Communicate with the Supervisor regarding production schedule and issues.
• Monitor production line for defects and raw material issues.
• Check finished products for proper closures, codes, and packaging.
• Perform changeovers according to standard operating procedures.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
• Complete end of shift duties for smooth transitions.
• Collaborate with departments to improve quality and efficiency.
• Understand SQF and HACCP standards.
• Maintain production flow and perform minor machine maintenance.
• Assist in training new employees.

Requirements

• High School Certification or equivalent (GED).
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Solid understanding of production machinery and forklifts.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required.
