Overview

Worley is a global company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, headquartered in Australia. The Electrician position involves reading blueprints, determining material needs, and ensuring safety while installing and maintaining electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using various tools.
  • Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
  • Observe functioning of installed equipment to determine hazards and need for adjustments.
  • Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
  • NCEER Certified (written or performance verified).
  • Ability to fabricate and install rigid & aluminum, E.M.T., plastic-bond, and P.V.C. conduit.
  • Ability to use mechanical benders and hydraulic benders 2” – 4”.
  • Ability to do wire and cable installation by hand, by machine, and in cable trays.
