Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld complex piping and pressure vessel components.
  • Work from isometric drawings, welding symbols, specifications, and flow diagrams.
  • Perform layout, fit-up, tack welding, and final welding to meet customer and code requirements.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment including scales, levels, torches, and welding machines.
  • Conduct pressure testing and repairs on prototype and customer units.
  • Support facility equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
  • Ability to pass specific weld tests for carbon steel.
  • Proficiency in pipe fitting, structural welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics, welding codes, and specifications.
  • Certified in required code welding qualifications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights over 12 feet.
  • Completion of a 120-day training program.

Additional Information

  • Location: New Freedom, PA
  • Pay: $40.02 + $1,500 Sign-On Bonus
  • Hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
  • Benefits provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
