Overview

The Underground Miner role involves safely operating mining equipment and collaborating with team members to meet production goals while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate underground mining equipment and machinery to support daily production goals.
  • Conduct inspections of work areas, equipment, and mine conditions to identify and address safety concerns.
  • Perform drilling, blasting, scaling, hauling, and material handling activities as assigned.
  • Follow mine plans, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining a strong safety culture.

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
  • Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mining equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the capability to learn and adapt to underground mining processes and equipment.
  • Dependable work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a dynamic environment.
