Overview

The welder position requires expertise in MIG Welding techniques, focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures as specified by prints, layouts, and/or jigs and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamp parts together along layout marks.
• Lay out, position, and tack weld work pieces.
• MIG weld along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
