Overview

The Welder III position is a full-time permanent role focused on welding tasks, specifically FCAW in horizontal and vertical positions. The role requires passing specific welding tests and performing tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Pass the Weld 3 test.
  • Weld horizontal (2F) and vertical (3F) fillet welds until passing fillet weld break tests.
  • Perform tack welds while working with a fitter.
  • Select and set up welding equipment.

Requirements

  • Welding qualification limited to horizontal (2F) and vertical (3F) fillet welds.
  • Ability to weld in the 2F and 3F position without supervision after expectations are established.
  • Experience with FCAW welding.
