Overview

Lennox is a company with a 130-year legacy in HVAC and refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions to residential and commercial customers. The Welder position involves accurately welding metal components to specifications and tolerances, contributing to a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Weld metal components accurately to specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow instruction from Lead(s), Supervisor(s), and Manager(s).
  • Torch cut with multi fuels when needed.
  • Grind, sand, and deburr assorted types of metals and materials.
  • Perform Mig Welding when needed with supervision.
  • Assemble products together per company standards.
  • Work within multiple departments and run multiple machines when asked.
  • Communicate verbally and/or in writing about any issues that arise.
  • Safely operate machines while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Use assorted metal cutting saws and electric handheld and manual hand tools.
  • Restock and control inventory when needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience reading a tape measure.
  • Must pass tape measure exam.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate a manual/electric hand truck in and between multiple departments.
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to stand/sit in one place up to 2 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
