Overview

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with 17 plants across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. They are seeking safety-oriented individuals with mechanical backgrounds to maintain and repair machines that pull recyclable material from already recycled sources.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Weld fabrication and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Install and repair piping.
  • Consult with production operators to ensure smooth equipment operation.
  • Inspect equipment to determine problem areas during breakdowns.
  • Assist Maintenance Lead-person, Engineers, and Operations Management with plant repairs and projects.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles as needed.
  • Perform record keeping and data collection as required.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and environmental meetings and training.
  • Follow safety, quality, environmental, and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical, and challenge driven.
  • Prior Foundry Experience.
  • Experienced Welder.
  • Ability to work in a task completion environment.
  • General mechanical knowledge.
