Job Description

Overview

Join us as a mobile industrial welder and bring your MIG skills to complex, heavy-gauge steel projects while enjoying steady hours and a daily per diem during travel for work.

Responsibilities

  • Execute MIG (GMAW) welding on heavy-gauge steel: fuel tanks, frames, and enclosures.
  • Weld confidently in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
  • Use blueprints and precise measurements to guide fabrication.
  • Clamp, position, tack, grind, and assemble parts to spec.
  • Inspect welds and resolve routine quality issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

  • MIG/GMAW experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and a tape measure.
  • Detail-focused and eager to learn.
  • Dependable team player.
  • Open to 1st or 2nd shift and overtime.
  • Pass background check and 5-panel drug test.
  • Pass pre-employment physical.
  • Pass written test and basic weld test on first day.
