Overview

The Welder-MIG position involves performing various welding duties on a variety of parts and assemblies, primarily using MIG welding techniques. This role is for the 2nd shift in Denver, NC, and offers a pay rate with a shift differential and potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust locating rails and stops for length and width of assembly.
  • Place components into fixture and clamp in place using various clamping devices.
  • MIG weld bead or tack all accessible joints as necessary.
  • Manually weld connectors to beams or touch up welds as required.
  • Make necessary adjustments to wire feed, heat, and gas flow.
  • Use gas torch to cut notches and heat parts for bending as required.
  • Obtain material from storage and prepare for welding.
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

  • Mig welding experience or formal Mig welding training.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Good attendance record.

Additional Information

  • Payrate: $20.59 to 22.09 + 10% Shift differential.
  • Hours: Monday thru Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am with mandatory OT on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Job location is in Denver, NC 28037.
