Overview

Sierra Pacific Industries is a fourth-generation family-owned company and one of the largest lumber and millwork producers in the United States, currently seeking a qualified swing shift fabricator for their fabrication shop in Shelton, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fabrication support for all manufacturing facilities throughout Washington.
  • Apply welding fabrication techniques to achieve visually and structurally sufficient welds.
  • Perform precision layout work and accurately read and interpret blueprints/plans, sketches, and verbal instructions.
  • Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products.
  • Possibility to work at other divisions, requiring travel.
  • Overtime sometimes expected during busy production times.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ welding and fabricating experience or educational equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with Mig, Arc, Dual Shield, cutting torch, metal cutting band saw, air arc, and fabrication tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on current work while planning the next stages of work.
