Overview

The Welder is responsible for performing all assigned duties related to welding and must adhere to company policies and procedures. This role requires reading blueprints, welding materials, checking finished work for tolerances, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand blueprints prior to starting work.
  • Weld materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
  • Check finished work to ensure it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
  • Maintain all assigned equipment.
  • Assist with process and finishing when needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years welding experience or completed creditable welding courses.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in measurements.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment.
