Overview

Venturi Supply is a national distributor specializing in pipe, valves, fittings, tanks, and industrial supplies, dedicated to delivering critical materials and reliable service. The Fabrication Associate will assist in the fabrication process and prepare products for distribution, contributing to the company's mission of operational excellence and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Operates grooving, threading, and band saw machines that assist in the fabrication process.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints and sketches, following verbal and written instructions.
  • Uses a tape measurer and gauges to determine types of materials according to specifications.
  • Performs high-level shop math, converting decimals to fractional equivalents and vice versa.
  • Layouts, measures, and marks dimensions and reference lines on materials.
  • Sets up and operates fabricating machines and uses air/hand tools.
  • Inspects parts for accuracy and ensures consistent production of quality products.
  • Prepares all completed products for distribution.
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • Education: GED or High School Diploma.
  • Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging, and fabrication.
  • 1 year of fabrication experience required.
  • Prior Forklift experience.
  • Computer literate; proficient with MS Office 365.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal forms.
  • Proven experience with quality control analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of math and geometry.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail-oriented work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
