Overview

T1 Energy is focused on revitalizing solar manufacturing in the U.S. by establishing a domestic solar supply chain. The company operates a 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, producing over 20,000 solar modules daily, and is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain and ensure the reliability of its automated production lines.

Responsibilities

  • Master the structure and working principle of factory production equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production equipment to ensure good condition.
  • Make daily operation and maintenance records of the equipment system.
  • Detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery.
  • Assist with aligning machines and equipment during installation.
  • Support in repairing problems associated with new equipment.
  • Timely repair faulty equipment reported for maintenance.
  • Maintain equipment to prolong service life and improve utilization.
  • Abide by safety operation rules and maintenance standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or higher in electrical or mechanical fields.
  • Familiarity with solar modules or semiconductors preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and automation components preferred.
  • Good knowledge of pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to operate shop equipment and hand tools.
  • Ability to use data analysis tools such as MS Excel.
  • Dedicated, hardworking, reliable, and able to adapt to shifts.

  • Only Shift Available - 6PM to 6AM with 10% differential.
