Overview

Axalta is seeking innovative college students for its 2027 Engineering Intern Talent Pool, offering a 10-week immersive experience designed to accelerate professional growth in the coatings technology industry. Interns will develop essential skills through workshops and interactions with senior leaders, culminating in a capstone project presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of engineering projects.
• Conduct research and gather data to support project development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input and ideas.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on project progress.
• Support the maintenance and organization of engineering documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Industrials, Materials, etc).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or project experience is a plus but not required.
