Overview

EquipmentShare is hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC) to join their Advanced Solutions rental facility in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing maintenance and repair for various Pump, Power & HVAC equipment while utilizing innovative technology to enhance efficiency and support contractors and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Create, assign, and monitor work orders using technology.
  • Track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • Diagnose issues by pulling data from various equipment makes and models.
  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • Travel to customer job sites for preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on-site.
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of work performed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Requirements

  • Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • EPA 608 certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
  • High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred.
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Overtime pay after working 40 hours.
  • On-call scheduling with additional compensation.
