Overview

ATS is a company founded in 1985 with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, specializing in Industrial Maintenance to improve factory operations. The Traveling Field Service Technician role involves expert-level maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization efforts.
• May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations.
• Documents work performed in service reports and management systems.
• Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams.
• Alters, troubleshoots, and analyzes complex control systems.
• Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
• Conducts on-the-job training and leads technical programs.
• Follows all safety related policies, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 12 years of related experience, or 15 years of experience in the specific industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools.
• Extensive travel required (Local, National, International).
