Overview

The Field QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting, accepting, or rejecting work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications, primarily in mechanical or piping disciplines. The role requires travel to project sites and emphasizes safety and quality management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Company’s commitment to safety and its Core Values.
  • Represent the Company with high moral standards and adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program.
  • Create inspection reports detailing work area conditions and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Apply knowledge of quality systems to validate contractually required standards.
  • Maintain quality standards of products and procedures.
  • Perform assignments under general supervision, displaying core job competencies.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a specific craft or working under a formal Quality Management System.
  • 3 years of mechanical and/or piping experience preferred.
  • ACI certification preferred; other discipline-specific inspection certifications may be considered.
  • Familiarity with ASME Sec. VIII, Sec. IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 650/653, 1104 Codes.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills including MS Word and Excel.

Additional Information

  • Must be willing and able to travel to assigned project site locations as required.
  • Per diem will be provided for eligible travel assignments.
