Overview

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, specializes in power distribution and protection systems, focusing on customized solutions for safe and reliable power distribution. They are seeking a Shop Helper for the 2nd shift in Dallas, Texas, to assist in the fabrication process in structural welding.

Responsibilities

  • Cut material in preparation for fabrication or processing.
  • Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter using hand scrapers or power chippers.
  • Assist machine operators with loading and unloading items from the machines.
  • Assist welders with structural welds by holding materials in place.
  • Transfer raw materials, finished products, tools, or equipment using powered equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
