Overview

The structural fitter welder constructs, positions, and joins metal parts like I-beams, columns, and plates using specialized welding and fitting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to measure, align, and tack heavy steel parts.
• Perform GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), or stick welding to secure and finalize assemblies.
