Overview

The Welder and Fabricator position involves fabricating and assembling metal components and structures based on blueprints and specifications. This role requires proficiency in various welding processes and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux Core (FCAW).
  • Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot fit-up and alignment issues during fabrication and assembly.
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes and other shop tools.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.

Requirements

  • Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
  • Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, and sheet metal.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and shop tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

What you'll be running
